Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SpackBot, a Discord moderation, anti-spam and threat-intelligence service operated by Spackmod(“we”, “us”). By inviting the bot to a Discord server you administer, or by signing in to the dashboard at bot.spackmod.com, you accept these Terms.

1. Service description

SpackBot provides automated moderation capabilities to Discord servers, including: malicious URL/file detection, spam and raid detection, phishing heuristics, honeypot traps, a cross-server federation registry, and a Security Operations dashboard.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (Discord’s minimum age) and have the Manage Server or Administrator permission on the Discord server where you install or operate the bot.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, dox or target individuals;
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication;
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without prior written consent;
  • Submit false or malicious entries to the federation registry to ban innocent users;
  • Use the Service in violation of Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

4. Subscription and billing

Premium features are licensed on a per-Discord-server basis through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard or your Stripe customer portal; access remains active until the end of the paid period.

Prices are listed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Refunds are issued only as required by EU consumer law (Codice del Consumo, art. 52, 14-day cooling-off period for first-time consumer subscriptions).

5. Service level

We target a monthly uptime of 99.5%. The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Threat detection is heuristic and may produce false positives or false negatives; SpackBot is a defence-in-depth tool, not a substitute for human moderation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Italian law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages, including loss of community, reputation or revenue.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

SpackBot, the dashboard, source code, brand, logo and threat intelligence dataset are the exclusive property of Spackmod. Your data (server settings, audit logs, billing records) remain yours; you grant us only the licence necessary to operate the Service on your behalf.

8. Data protection

Personal data processing is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you confirm you have read and accepted that policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and, if desired, requesting deletion of your data from your dashboard. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms, fraud, or non-payment.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Exclusive venue is the Court of the city where Spackmod is registered, except for non-waivable consumer protections.
